Fiberpalooza is Coming… Mark your calendar for March 21st, 9:00 to 5:00 at Winterset Elementary School!

The Heartland Fiberpalooza is a fabulous day of yarn and fiber, notions, food, classes, demonstrations, seminars, and, oh — did we mention food? Find all the details on our Fiberpalooza page.

Check out our Calendar for classes and knit alongs. Pre-registration is required and refunds will only be given if the class is canceled. If the Winterset Schools are canceled due to inclement weather then any class scheduled that day will be postponed. You will receive 10% off supplies purchased for classes at HFC.

This set was designed and knitted by Victoria Wickham. Along with HFC, she is published in 60 Quick Knits From America’s Yarn Shops.

Our New Home!

112 N. 1st Ave., Winterset

In early October, 2014, we moved to this historic building on the west side of the square in Winterset. We now have over 1500 square feet for you to shop, explore, and enjoy! Read more about our story here.

Local Wine & Stuff

Believe it or not, we were granted a license to sell local wine and wine accessories! We offer a unique line of glasses and cookbooks that make perfect gifts for a girlfriend not easily offended! We also carry those really cool solar light lids that screw on mason jars (they’ll light up your deck or porch on those special evenings), Woolen Treasures (items locally crafted from salvaged wool sweaters), and Trash Talk by Annie cards and gifts.

We are in love with Atenti Bags! We have a nice selection, or we can order.

Lots of other fun bags available too!

See our Products page for a vast array of natural yarns, with colors and textures for every knitting, crocheting, weaving or craft project you can imagine.
